Most tubs we replace aren't broken — they're worn out. Chipped or stained enamel, hairline cracks in fiberglass, a floor that flexes near the drain, and caulk and grout that won't stay clean are the signs we see most.
Refinishing only covers the surface. A crack or a failing seal lets water reach the subfloor and wall framing, and that's where rot and mold start. A replacement fixes the problem at the source.

How long does bathtub replacement take?
Most tub replacements take one to two days. Walk-in tubs and conversions can take a little longer. Because everything is custom-made for your space, there's a short wait while your order is built.
Do I have to remodel my whole bathroom?
No. We replace the tub, walls, fixtures and door without tearing out the rest of your bathroom. We don't do vanities, cabinets or flooring outside the tub area.
Is replacing a bathtub better than refinishing it?
Refinishing only recoats the surface, so chips and cracks can come back and any damage underneath stays hidden. A replacement gives you a new tub and walls and lets us check what's behind the old one.
What if there's water damage under my old tub?
We check the walls and subfloor when the old tub comes out and show you anything we find before the new one goes in, so there are no surprises.
